Coin Storage
The secret to keeping a good coin collection is to store your coins in a protected and organized way to prevent them from getting damaged and losing value. There are many different options to store your coins, depending on your preferences. Below are some storage options that I would reccomend to keep coins organized and safe.
2x2's in a Binder
The first, and most widely used, method to store coins is by 2x2 cardboard holders placed in plastic pages in a binder. By using this method you can easily see all the coins organized by date and you can write the information on the holder.
*TIP: After stapling the sides of the 2X2 together, use pliers to flatten the staples so they dont scratch the vinyl pages.*

Coin Folders
Coin folders are a very easy and inexpensive way to store coins. The folders are like a book with pages of plastic flaps to hold a certain denomintion. Each book has the denomination labeled on the front and the flaps are designed to fit every year of that denomination. The downside is that you can not write the year or grade on the flaps.

Coin Capsules
Coin capsules are normally used to hold more expensive or valuable coins because they have very good protection and can be displayed. You can store coin capsules by themselves or in a variety of cases in your collection. Pictured is a coin capsule case with holes for inserting coin capsules.

Coin Tubes
Coin tubes are inexpensive tubes designed to hold a roll of coins in a certain denomination. They are made of plastic with a screw on lid for easy access to your coins. The downside of coin tubes is that coins may scratch against eachother because there is no individual protection. Coin tubes should only be used to store bad condition coins.
*TIP: To organize coin tubes, write the denomination of the coin on the lid.*
